Hi all, UK based here. I run Hark Tech, a one-person 3D printing workshop in Basingstoke, and I post anywhere in the UK. Two new things this week, plus the usual routes. New: paint it in colour. Upload an STL or STEP at https://harktech.co.uk/printing.html, press "Paint this file", and brush, fill or split the model by height in up to 4 colours (PLA, matte, silk, PETG or ASA). Saving re-prices it with a real multi-filament slice, so the price on screen already includes every colour change. A multi-colour 3MF from Bambu Studio or OrcaSlicer keeps its colour slots too. New: quote it inside Claude. Hark Tech is now in the Claude connectors directory (search "Hark Tech"). Add it and you can ask Claude to find a part in our catalogue, price it with UK postage, or price your own file from a Google Drive, Dropbox or GitHub link, then it hands you a checkout link. Same tools are in the open MCP registry if you use another assistant. Have a file? Upload it and the price with postage shows in seconds. No account, no quote form. Found it on Printables or Thingiverse? Paste the link at https://harktech.co.uk/print-from-printables-link.html and it opens the model page with the price. No file? Browse https://harktech.co.uk/models.html, 100k+ community designs with their own page and price. I don't do CAD, but the page says who can. Prices (checked 18 Oct): a tiny PLA or PETG part up to 8 g is £4 to print and £5.95 delivered untracked. One part up to 40 g is £4 to £6.90. Normal orders from £6.90, free Tracked 48 over £40. Most orders dispatch within 2 working days. Faulty print: free reprint or full refund, your choice. 5.0 on Google. Launch code: PAINT10 takes 10% off any print until Sunday 25 Oct (first 30 uses). Happy to answer anything here before you DM, as the sub rules ask. Grant submitted by /u/harktron [link] [comments]
