I don’t longer trust adults with neurodivergent kids who asks for electronic devices. Me and my family once gifted my 14 year old autistic neighbor a cheap tablet. Nothing too fancy but it had the apps and games he liked to play on his cousins tablet. The kid drew pretty good with his fingers. Well not even a month later , my aunt visited him and we found out the mom had “confiscated” the tablet from him and was using it to browse Facebook and watch movies. Got pretty defensive when my aunt asked her to give it back to the kid.
