Cross fell on priest: A 53-year-old Catholic priest in Ecuador died after a giant crucifix fell on him during a livestreamed Mass, moments after he spoke about death and the importance of spending time with God and family. Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari was celebrating Mass in Guayaquil on October 17 when the accident occurred. The Archdiocese of Guayaquil confirmed his death.
