I got tired of having 30 different CV PDFs, so I started treating my cv like source code

Wait 5 sec.

i just wanted to apply for jobs without ending up with folders full of final_v2_REAL_final.pdf so i built vita-cv, a Python CLI that uses Git branches to manage a base CV and company-specific versions. then i thought "a UI would be nice" and somehow built another tool called vita-tree. now i can compare versions, edit LaTeX, preview PDFs and run AI workflows for job analysis, tailoring and review. both are open source (MIT). still building them, and i'd love feedback, especially from people who already keep their CV in LaTeX/Git. https://github.com/ABDELLAH-Hallou/vita-cv https://github.com/ABDELLAH-Hallou/vita-tree submitted by /u/Py_ABH [link] [comments]
