My friends and I were queuing 5-man ranked when we ran into a team from another server playing on ours, trying a ridiculous strategy: all five of them pushing lanes together. They didn't even take Retribution. All of them ran Inspire, even Valir. We were so caught off guard and unprepared. We dominated early and got plenty of kills, but they just kept pushing towers. Their Valir kept knocking us back so we couldn't defend, and the others took our towers. Even though we tried our hardest, bought counter items, and took every Lord and Turtle, they beat us in the late game. We felt ashamed. How could we lose to this strategy? But we got matched with the same team again in the next game. This time we banned Sun and Valir. They ran the same no-Retribution strategy, but we were ready. We defended most of our towers and pushed some of our own. After a really long 26 minutes, we won and got our revenge. And the best part? Most of them had a win rate below 45% with 200+ matches.
