Is it finally time for $VIX to $100?VOLATILITY S&P 500TVC:VIXbenjihyamI've been tracking this trade for a better part of a year and although it's been extremely difficult to time, however I think we're really close to this playing out here. As you can see we've broken out of a falling wedge, and now we've been consolidating underneath the trend line and look set to break above it. If we can break above $17 and then $20, then there's clear skies to the two target levels above. I think the move likely happens over the next month or so, but it's also possible that it can take all of the way until March for it to play out. Let's see if the timing is finally right.
