hey r/SideProject, solo dev here (french guy living in bali, so sorry in advance for my english lol) so for the past few months ive been working on Circle, its basically a social media simulator for iphone. you make a profile, post whatever u want, and a whole bunch of AI characters react to it. they like, comment, start drama in the replies, and some of them slide into ur DMs the part i find the most fun: if u say ur a famous singer or a pro footballer, they actually believe it and act like fans. its kinda wild how fast it feels real tbh some stuff i didnt expect after launch: ppl spend way more time in the DMs than in the feed a lot of users create their own characters and end up chatting with them more than the default ones keeping dozens of AI characters consistent (personality, memory etc) was WAY harder than just generating replies rn theres only one world, basically “real life” (normal ppl, a local news account, a sheriff, random influencers...). but im working on adding more worlds + letting users create their own, and honestly i dont know where to start so id love ur ideas: what worlds would u wanna play in? like a fantasy kingdom, a reality tv show, a high school drama, a startup in silicon valley, idk what kind of characters would make it fun? the toxic ex, the conspiracy uncle, the overly supportive mom, a rival influencer... the weirder the better honestly its free with a daily limit, theres a sub if u want more. ios only for now (android maybe later) link if u wanna try: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ai-social-media-circle/id6814513094 any feedback welcome, even harsh stuff. especially if smth feels fake or breaks the vibe 🙏   submitted by   /u/Dense-Jelly8214 [link]   [comments]
