But the conversations came down to me picking a team, and I wanted to take myself a little bit out of my comfort zone to test myself in a big league and one of the top five leagues.“When we were speaking, everyone said they thought it would be a really good experience for me to experience this type of football. It’s really intense, and there are some great teams in the league. For me, it was a no-brainer. I made the decision early that I wanted to come out here, and now I just need to push on.”Moore admits he will ask for Harry Kane’ shirt after Bayern clashThe Tottenham teenager is attempting to follow in the footsteps of Kane, who was the last player to emerge from Spurs’ academy to go on to become a star player for the first team.Mikey Moore confessed that he idolised the England captain when he was young and was mesmerised by what he did in training. Koln travel to the Allianz Arena on November 20, and the Spurs loanee already has that date marked in his calendar. When asked about the opportunity to go up against Tottenham legend Kane, he said: “He’s been a massive idol of mine since I was really young. When I first went up to train with the first team under Antonio Conte, Harry Kane was over there, and I’d seen some finishing that I’d never seen anything like again. It will be a great experience to play against him and share a pitch with him. I’m really looking forward to it.“I’ll try my best to get my hands on that shirt. I saw him on the last international break, actually, and went and said hello. If I see him on the next one, if we’re in the same place, I’m definitely going to say to him, ‘Give me that shirt when we next play.’ Hopefully, I’ll be coming back to Koln with that in my hand.”READ MORE: Some Tottenham fans want to see captain Micky van de Ven benched for key Coventry clashThe post ‘Massive idol’ – Tottenham’s Mikey Moore is looking forward to going up against Harry Kane appeared first on Spurs Web.
