most "AI search optimization" advice is just old SEO with a new label

Wait 5 sec.

We kept seeing teams add FAQ schema and call it done, then wonder why ChatGPT or Perplexity never cites them. The real issue isn't markup. It's that these models pull from pages that already rank for the exact question being asked, so if your content doesn't answer anything specific, no amount of schema fixes that. The fix that actually moved things for us was treating it like a dev task: content and fixes go in as pull requests, someone with repo access reviews and merges, nothing auto-publishes. I built Shipfound to run that loop for Next.js, Nuxt.js, WordPress and Webflow teams already working in Claude Code or Codex.
