XAUUSD | 1H/4H Analysis & Trading Strategy | October 14GoldOANDA:XAUUSDXAUTrendMasterHello, traders! 👋 Hope your trading is going well! 🚀 ✅ From the 4-hour chart, gold is currently trading below the MA5, MA10, and MA20, with the short-term moving averages clustered around the 4171–4176 area, forming a certain level of resistance. Meanwhile, the price has fallen below the middle Bollinger Band, indicating that bullish momentum has weakened. Overall, gold remains in a consolidation and corrective phase following the previous decline, with the short-term outlook leaning bearish. ✅ From the 1-hour chart, short-term bearish momentum is even more evident. Since pulling back from the 4217 high, gold has been forming progressively lower highs, showing an overall downward consolidation structure. The price recently found support near 4150 and rebounded toward 4160, but it remains under pressure from the MA10 and MA20, suggesting that the current rise is more of a technical rebound. If gold fails to break above 4175, another short-term decline remains possible. ✅ Key support and resistance levels: On the upside, the first resistance zone to watch is 4165–4175, followed by 4181–4195, with stronger resistance concentrated around 4207–4217. On the downside, initial support is located at 4150–4145. A confirmed breakdown below this area could lead to further declines toward 4134 and 4118–4109, while major support lies between 4082 and 4066. ✅ Trading strategy: The current trading approach favors a bearish bias when rallies encounter resistance, and aggressively chasing higher prices is not recommended. If gold rebounds toward the 4165–4175 area and shows clear signs of rejection, traders may look for short-term selling opportunities, with downside targets at 4150 and 4134. However, if gold stabilizes near 4150 and successfully reclaims the 4175–4181 zone, short-term buying opportunities may be considered, with upside targets at 4195 and 4207–4217. The key is to monitor confirmed breakouts or breakdowns at critical levels while maintaining strict position sizing and stop-loss management. 👉 If you found this analysis helpful, please leave a like and share your thoughts in the comments! ❤️ Wishing you successful trading!
