Hello everyone! My current setup has an RX 7800 XT 16GB GPU + 32GB RAM. I'm currently running Qwen3.8 27B at 4bit with max context 120k at around 40 t/s but the quality isn't that great, and I'd like to push it to 250k context to replace my AI subscriptions Ive just found a used RX 7900 XTX for €900, and I could hopefully sell my current GPU for €500, so the upgrade would cost me €400. Do you think it's worth the money to run Qwen 27B better? I'm not sure what to expect from this card but I've read that the 7900 XTX has a bigger community and more options for running LLMs, so I think it could be a good trade-off considering I cannot affort 32GB VRAM in this market 😭 BTW I'm not interested in running Qwen3.8 Flash-Next, I don't like this model sadly   submitted by   /u/rusl1 [link]   [comments]
