Eight workers tragically lost their lives after being struck by a speeding car in Punjab's Sangrur district. The incident occurred on Lehragaga-Jakhal road near Alisher village while the workers were engaged in their duties. Authorities indicated that five workers died on the spot, while others sustained varying degrees of injuries. The district administration is providing necessary medical assistance to the injured individuals following the accident.
