Hey everyone! I’m looking to get into customizing Star Wars Black Series figures and was hoping some of you could point me in the right direction. I recently picked up these five used figures and thought they’d make a great starting point for experimenting with custom figures, especially using my Bambu Lab P1S 3D printer and resin printers. I’ve included a few reference images showing the kinds of customs I’d eventually like to make. The ARC Trooper is my main inspiration for the Clone Lieutenant, but I’d also love to experiment with turning the other figures into custom Jedi, Sith, Imperial officers, bounty hunters, or other original characters. Right now, I’m primarily looking for STL files, downloadable accessory packs, or larger libraries of interchangeable parts that I can print and experiment with. Things like helmets, armor, pauldrons, gauntlets, heads, weapons, belts, and other accessories. I’m not necessarily looking for one specific conversion kit. I’d love to find a collection of different parts that I can mix and match while learning how to modify, paint, and customize figures. I’m more than happy to pay for quality STL files, bundles, or creator memberships if they’re worthwhile. Free resources would obviously be appreciated too! A few questions: Are there any STL libraries, creators, or bundles you’d recommend for 1:12-scale Black Series customization? Are there any Discord communities or other groups dedicated to making custom action figures? Are there any good beginner tutorials or YouTube channels for learning kitbashing, painting, and modifying figures? For anyone using an FDM printer, are there particular types of parts or printing techniques you’d recommend starting with? I’m really just looking to get my feet wet, experiment with different designs, and hopefully make some pretty cool customs along the way. Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated.
