Does anyone have a good experience or recommendation for where to get a good thin, fine, curly haircut in NYC? I have AGA that started as an early teen and haven’t had my hair cut by a professional in probably in over 10 years (I’m in my 20s now). I don’t think I want the most extreme “curly cut” that’s been popular because I don’t think so many layers would look right given how thin it is. I’ve just been cutting my own for a long time and just want a better shape to it (especially to help the back be a little less flat). But I’m very afraid of going to a salon and have had some bad experiences with being in typical salons when I was younger (not the most sensitive comments from the hair stylist and lots of unwanted attention related to my hair loss from the other people getting their hair done). I also typically use powder/fibers on my hair, and I’m dreading the idea of 1) having anyone seeing me without them during the haircut process and 2) on the way home, etc. Any advice is greatly appreciated! ❤️   submitted by   /u/Bookkeeper10 [link]   [comments]
