Food lovers, this one’s for you.The Malta International Food Festival is back at the Floriana Granaries from tomorrow, 5th August, until Sunday 9th August, celebrating its 10th edition with its biggest programme yet.Visitors can expect more than 1,000 dishes from 42 international cuisines, alongside a strong focus on Maltese cuisine and locally produced food, showcasing the work of the island’s farmers, fishermen and food producers.This year’s festival will feature over 100 exhibitors, including restaurants, producers, importers and leading food and drink brands, making it one of the largest food events Malta has to offer.Beyond the food, attendees can enjoy daily live music, cultural performances, family-friendly activities, a dedicated kids’ area and plenty of entertainment throughout the five-day event.Agriculture Minister Anton Refalo said the festival is an important opportunity to promote high-quality Maltese products while strengthening the local agri-food sector and showcasing Malta as a top gastronomic destination.Equality and Civil Rights Minister Rosianne Cutajar also highlighted the festival’s role in bringing different communities together, describing food as a powerful way to encourage inclusion and celebrate Malta’s multicultural society.The festival will be open daily from 6pm until midnight at the Floriana Granaries.Share with that foodie in your life!•
