VIVA Finance Scales Loan Volume 300% After LoanPro Switch

LoanPro, the modern lending and credit platform, today announced that VIVA Finance, one of the nation’s fastest-growing employment-based lending platforms, has tripled its loan origination volume since migrating to LoanPro in July 2025. The results came within the first year of the partnership, and without the proportional headcount increases VIVA would have needed to sustain that growth on its previous system.VIVA Finance offers personal loans underwritten on employment history rather than traditional credit scores, a model designed to serve borrowers who are often overlooked by conventional lenders. As the company's loan portfolio grew, its legacy loan management system couldn't keep pace. The old platform lacked an API-forward architecture, which blocked VIVA's engineering team from customizing and extending their operations. Agents had limited access because the system had no web-based UI. Data reliability was a persistent problem as well — inconsistent, translated data created errors in loan portfolios and forced staff into manual processes the company had long outgrown."The biggest benefit we saw with LoanPro is the ability to automate a lot of the tasks we do manually, so that when we grow, we're not hiring servicing agents one-on-one with that growth," said Payton Lane, Product Manager at VIVA Finance. "Keeping the team lean, automating manual tasks that don't need to be manual."After selecting LoanPro, VIVA completed implementation in four months, hitting every milestone through a collaborative, well-scoped process. LoanPro's API-first architecture gave VIVA's engineering team the customization and control needed to manage its unique loan structures. A modern, web-accessible UI replaced the access limitations agents had dealt with on the legacy system. The Automation Engine allowed VIVA to scale servicing in line with volume growth, and a single, reliable data layer replaced the inconsistent records the team had been working around. That clean data foundation is now supporting VIVA's next move: a multi-product roadmap the company began executing in 2026."We knew we would be able to scale with LoanPro, and doing it now has enabled us to focus on other products and continue to push the pedal to the metal," said Pete Gerontakis, Vice President of Finance at VIVA Finance. "I'm not really sure there are any competitors that can do everything LoanPro can.""VIVA Finance came in with aggressive growth targets and a clear picture of what their legacy system was costing them," said Charles Sweeney, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer at LoanPro. "The 300% origination growth they've seen in less than a year reflects what's possible when a lender's platform can actually keep up with their business."NoYesLending03 Aug, 2026
