Borden (1860–1927) lived in Massachusetts and was accused of murdering her father and stepmother with an axe, but she was later acquitted of the deadly crimes. After her acquittal, Borden continued to live in Fall River, Massachusetts, until she died of pneumonia in her late sixties.The official logline for Monster season 4 reads: “When the repressed daughter of a wealthy New England family and her rebellious maid find themselves trapped in a house built on humiliation and cruelty, they escape into a fantasy of sex, power, and revenge.
