When quarantine hit, it fell on the one year my son was a complete pain in the ass about school. Throwing away his homework, racing through tests so he could draw airplanes on the back of the paper, and basically being forced to do his homework while I sat next to him and did my work so he wouldn’t fart around. My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to work from home. When the next school year began, it was a no-brainer. He went back to school wearing his mask correctly because he was a germophobe and overusing hand sanitizer. He had a 100% chance of dying if he was homeschooled.
