A world-renowned competitive eater has taken on one of Malta’s most iconic snacks, and walked away with a brand new record.Leah Shutkever, a British competitive eater and content creator who holds 40 Guinness World Records, visited Is-Serkin – Crystal Palace Bar in Rabat to see just how many pastizzi she could eat in a single sitting.The record to beat stood at 15 pastizzi.Faced with 30 pastizzi, 15 cheese and 15 chicken, Shutkever powered through an incredible 23 pastizzi in just 20 minutes, smashing the previous benchmark.
