BTC - Pushing Into Upper Trendlines AgainBitcoin / TetherUSBINANCE:BTCUSDTVIAQUANTThis idea builds off of my last one: After the FOMC decision, BTC did end up seeing rejection from the upper trendlines. Now that price has formed a base on the lower timeframe (2H), it is pushing back up toward those same upper trendlines once again. If price falls from here, a retest of the base is expected, followed by a further breakdown. However, I am still expecting some continued upside at the moment. I will be watching closely for a breakout above the upper trendlines. If and when that occurs, a push into the orange box is expected. This is the same zone I previously outlined as a red box in this earlier idea: This move could very much align with BTC's price coming into contact with the other trendline currently sitting within the orange box. This gives a projected timeframe where BTC is likely to visit that orange box before August 7th, provided a lower timeframe breakout occurs above the current trendlines. For the higher timeframe structure it is very critical to see a daily close above the orange box, followed by confirmation. On July 21st, BTC did see a daily close above this box, but there was no follow-through confirmation, leading to a close back below it. Because of this, it is very important to see two consecutive daily closes above the $66,300 level before treating this as a confirmed breakout toward the $70-$74k zone.
