That’s absolutely insane. It’s been 5 years since we didn’t need her, but I paid our nanny the going rate of $20 an hour. She was worth every penny. Cheap out on other stuff, but not on the care if your kids. Relying on your kids to be delightful to offset the shitty pay is not a gamble you should take
