A team led by Santhamaguluru Circle Inspector P. Seshagiri Rao arrested seven persons.According to the police, a group of friends who had fallen prey to bad habits and sought easy money, roamed around agricultural fields across Prakasam, Bapatla, Guntur, and Palnadu districts, cutting and stealing aluminium wires from electric poles to sell them. They recently stole the electrical service wire at P.V.R. Residency in Santhamaguluru on July 30, 2026.After an investigation based on technical resources, the police apprehended and arrested the gang near Gangamma temple, in front of the elementary school at Santhamaguluru ‘X’ Road junction on Monday.
