Udhayanidhi Stalin Arrested: Udhayanidhi Stalin was arrested by Chennai Police on Tuesday after an FIR was registered against him over his alleged derogatory remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay. Police had stepped up security outside his Chennai residence ahead of the arrest. The controversy stemmed from a speech in which Udhayanidhi criticised the Chief Minister's governance. Several DMK workers who gathered outside his residence were also arrested during the police action.
