A cease and desist order has been issued to Bebe Cool on Wednesday evening by Jolly Mutesi’s legal representatives, Mbidde and Co. Advocates, over defamation.Since Tuesday night, the Ugandan singer via his X account has been sharing information accusing the ex-Miss Rwanda of fraud.Bebe Cool alleged that Mutesi and her friends had been involved in conning him “in the name of Rwanda, Arsenal football club.”He further shared screenshots of his conversations with a U.K contact, which he alleged belonged to Mutesi, something she immediately denied, stating that it was a scammer using it to scam different people.Mutesi has now moved to order Bebe Cool against publishing any more defamatory content against her, to withdraw the allegations, and to issue a written apology within 48 hours, or risk being sued.By the publication of this article, Bebe Cool has yet to respond to the letter.
