We’ve all heard the story of the woman who sued McDonald’s for selling her scalding hot coffee — although you’re likely mistaken about the details of the case — so here’s a new one for you: another diner is now suing the franchise after eating a McMuffin so rank it left her “permanently injured.”According to the Independent, Yvette Hinds of Texas filed a civil suit alleging a sausage McMuffin with egg ordered from a New York City McDonald’s contained “contaminants, poisons, toxins, parasites, bacteria, germs and/or organisms which would and did cause various serious personal injuries.”The complaint argues that the sandwich was “wholly unfit for human consumption,” leaving Hinds “violently ill and nauseated” and suffering from “severe pains and distress throughout her body” after scarfing it down.
