UFC CEO Dana White holds UFC Freedom 250 post-fight press conferenceUFC CEO Dana White told reporters during the UFC Freedom 250 post-fight press conference on Monday morning that he may never host another fight at the White House, but that he and President Trump are planning another fight on a military base “for the troops.”Comparing the White House card to his massive UFC 306 event at the Sphere in Las Vegas in 2024, White told reporters, “I’ll never do the Sphere again, and we’ll never do this again.” Notably, UFC Freedom 250 cost roughly $60 million to produce, three times the $20 million price tag of UFC 306.“The sphere happened, this happened, and you know, I’m always looking to go to great arenas with, you know, good technology and give fans who show up the best experience I possibly can,” White said.“What was amazing with this event was you put together an event where people can’t get into it, yet 60,000 people show up to the weigh-ins, and you know, and then you know, like I said, almost 200,000 people over two days to stand in the grass and watch it on screens, and you know, it’s incredible. It was, it was an amazing experience. This was a one-of-one that will never happen again, and for all of us that were involved, from the fighters to my staff, to the media, to, you know, their families, and everybody, just this was a unique, cool experience.”When asked if he thinks the President will want to do it again, White bluntly told the reporter, “I can’t afford it. White then asked the fighters what they thought of the fight, prompting responses from Justin Gaethje and Bo Nickal. Gaethje said, “The breeze was really nice,” and Nickal told White, “I loved it. It’s not easy to get things done on military bases and things like that, but when we have the Fisher family, and then obviously the President can make a lot of things happen.
