But even when you log the bitcoin chart, it doesn't linearise, which always nagged me alongside the fact I noticed the angles between peaks reduce over time. So looked for a pattern there. I logged the angles (SUBJECT to your frame of reference) and linearised them. I projected 1.71 via a linear forecast. And intersects with the 3.618 fib extension for an August peak at approximately 200k Let's see how this plays out.
