The water was allegedly located near a drinking fountain in a high-traffic corridor beside a restroom.According to the filing, she slipped on the water and fell to the floor, striking her head, neck, back, shoulder, spine, and other parts of her body. The complaint states she immediately experienced pain, headaches, disorientation, and other symptoms, claiming that her “serious bodily injuries” included “orthopedic, neurologic, cognitive, and neuropsychological injuries, together with resulting damages.”The lawsuit alleges the water accumulation was a recurring issue and claims Disney knew, or should have known, that water routinely collected in the area because of the drinking fountain and the volume of guest traffic. The complaint claimed inadequately marked steel rails and flangeways along Main Street, U.S.A. near Cinderella Castle caused her to fall, resulting in permanent injuries and significant medical expenses. It also alleged that Disney failed to provide adequate warnings or safety measures in the area. Disney denied liability, arguing that the guest was negligent and failed to exercise reasonable care for her own safety.Have you ever been injured at Disney World?
