Emma Raducanu battled through the pain barrier to beat Iva Jovic and reach the final at Queen’s.The Brit battled past Kamilla Rakhimova in the quarter-finals earning a 6-3, 7-5 win over the 23-year-old in a match that was heavily delayed due to heavy rain in west London.In beating Iva Jovic, Raducanu reached her first WTA500 final of her careerGettyRaducanu secured victory despite requiring a medical timeout during the quarter-final clash.The British No.1 slipped on the grass at 3-1 up in the second set clutching her thigh but was able to continue to defeat Rakhimova.“It was an up-and-down match and I’m really grateful for the support I had in some tough moments,” the 23-year-old said after booking a semi-final spot.“It was tough to take the fall, I was in a good spot in the match and I found it tough to regroup, but I am proud how I did that with the help of you guys here.”And despite a quick turnaround from her quarter-final clash, Raducanu booked her spot in the Queen’s final with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over American Jovic.It marked Raducanu’s first career final since her US Open success in 2021, a first WTA500 final, and her first on home soil.The win set up a final meeting with Croat Donna Vekic, who defeated Katie Boulter earlier on Saturday.“It means everything to be doing it at Queen’s in front of everyone the support was electric,” Raducanu said following her meeting with Jovic.“I think this week has been incredible.
