Vice President JD Vance gave a scathing rebuke of Israeli officials for attacking President Trump and his memorandum of understanding with Iran during a press briefing on Thursday. This comes amid a report from Axios that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is fuming over the memorandum of understanding with Iran, namely, the ceasefire requirement between Israel and Hezbollah in Lebanon. A Netanyahu advisor reportedly said that Israel does not consider itself bound to that part of the deal and will not withdraw troops from Lebanon. The pro-Netanyahu media apparatus is also attacking the Trump administration over the deal. Per Axios, “One prime-time host on Netanyahu-aligned Channel 14 called Vice President Vance a ‘scumbag’ and used an antisemitic slur to accuse Trump’s envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner of selling out Israel for financial gain.”Israel’s allies in the US are also fuming over the MOU. Fox News host Mark Levin responded to reports that Israel does not consider itself beholden to Trump’s deal, supporting the notion and accusing Trump of “capitulation to Iran and Hezbollah.”There is not a rational person on the planet who thought otherwise. Many of the irrational are on this site, defending Iran, Hezbollah and other terror regimes and groups.I wouldn’t expect Donald Trump agreeing to any such terms if it involved terrorists south of the… https://t.co/PHmIBFOYnC— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) June 18, 2026In response to a question from The Gateway Pundit on this reporting, Vance blasted the Israeli officials for ingratitude, noting that “over the last three months, two thirds of the defensive weapons that have protected your homeland have been built by American hands and paid for by American tax dollars.”He said the reports that Netanyahu is fuming are “not reflective of the conversations that I’ve had with him,” but suggested that “maybe he’s saying something to somebody else that he’s not saying to me.”To the Israeli officials who are attacking Trump and the deal, Vance said, “Donald J. Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time, and he happens to be the head of state of the world’s superpower. If I was in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world.”“The problem for Israel is not Donald J. Trump, and anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the President of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in,” he said.WATCH:!function(r,u,m,b,l,e){r._Rumble=b,r[b]||(r[b]=function(){(r[b]._=r[b]._||[]).push(arguments);if(r[b]._.length==1){l=u.createElement(m),e=u.getElementsByTagName(m)[0],l.async=1,l.src="https://rumble.com/embedJS/u2vbt6g"+(arguments[1].video?'.'+arguments[1].video:'')+"/?url="+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+"&args="+encodeURIComponent(JSON.stringify([].slice.apply(arguments))),e.parentNode.insertBefore(l,e)}})}(window, document, "script", "Rumble");Rumble("play", {"video":"v79an98","div":"rumble_v79an98"});Transcript:Conradson: Back to the Lebanon component of the deal, There’s a report in Axios that Netanyahu is fuming over this. He doesn’t— Israel doesn’t feel bound to the MOU as it relates to Lebanon. You mentioned, your frustration with Israel striking in Beirut and hitting apartment buildings. If that continues, could it torpedo the deal, and what would the US’s response be to a broader war in Lebanon involving Israel and Hezbollah?Vance: Well, I don’t want to get into hypotheticals that could torpedo the deal because I think the president’s expectation is that all of our friends, the Israelis, the Arabs in the region, we’re going to work together and actually see this deal to completion. Now, I saw the Axios report that Netanyahu is fuming. That’s not reflective of the conversations that I’ve had with him, but maybe he’s saying something to somebody else that he’s not saying to me.What I will say, and this does bother me, is that you’ve seen people within Bibi’s cabinet who have come out and attacked the deal, and in some ways very personally attacked the President of the United States, and I guess my message to them would be twofold. Number one: Donald J. Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time, and he happens to be the head of state of the world’s superpower. If I was in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world. And the second message I would give to some of those cabinet members: Bibi, to his credit, has not gone down this path, but to some of these cabinet members in Israel who are attacking the present United States, the other thing that I would say is that over the last three months, two thirds of the defensive weapons that have protected your homeland have been built by American hands and paid for by American tax dollars. The problem for Israel is not Donald J. Trump, and anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the President of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in.The post WATCH: In Mic Drop at Press Briefing, Vance Blasts Israeli Officials Trashing Trump Over Iran Agreement – “I Might Not Be Attacking the Only Powerful Ally That I Have” appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
