Royal Ascot 2026 has already delivered plenty of drama, but Friday’s card could be one of the strongest of the entire meeting. The Commonwealth Cup looks a cracking renewal packed with speed, while the Coronation Stakes promises another fascinating clash between some of the best three-year-old fillies in training. There are also competitive betting heats in the King Edward VII Stakes, Albany Stakes and Sandringham Handicap, ensuring no shortage of opportunities for punters.I’ve gone through every race on the card to find the best value, strongest fancies and potential winners, with my Royal Ascot Day 4 tips, horse racing predictions and best bets below.Top Royal Ascot offersRoyal Ascot 2026 day 4 (Friday) quick tips2.30 Sun Goddess – 6/5 with bet365 NEXT BEST3.05 Wise Approach – 12/1 each way with BetVictor LONGSHOT3.40 Warrant Holder – 5/1 each way with Paddy Power4.20 Precise – 4/6 with bet3655.00 Seet – 5/1 each way with Betfred5.35 Water To Wine – Evens with Spreadex NAP6.10 Westport – 9/1 each way with CoralJoe’s best horse racing betting tips for Royal Ascot 2026 day 4 (Friday 19th June 2026)Find my top tips for Friday 19th June 2026 racing with odds from the best horse racing bookies below:Royal Ascot 2.30 Albany Stakes (Fillies’ Group 3) 6f3 of the last 12 winners were favourites and 6 of 12 top 3 in the betting7 of the last 12 winners were drawn in stall 13 or higher12 of the last 12 winners won on their last run before12 of the last 12 winners had at least 1 previous win that seasonI’m really not surprised to see SUN GODDESS clear favourite for this. The yard have won 2 of the last 5 renewals and this filly was impressive beating Green Empress by five lengths at the Curragh last month. She looked to love this trip and this track will suit even better so she is very much the one to beat and can justify favouritism.Karl Burke won this last year and Light Of Dawn gives him solid claims again. She won stylishly on debut at Carlisle and if negotiating a passage from a wide draw could give the O’Brien hotpot most to think about here.Libertango under Billy Loughnane is another one in with a chance. Bet on SUN GODDESS to win at 6/5 with bet365 Royal Ascot 3.05 Commonwealth Cup (Group 1) 6f4 of the last 11 winners were favourites or joint favourites and 6 of 11 top 3 in the betting4 of the last 11 winners won on their last run before the Commonwealth Cup3 of the last 11 winners had a previous win at Ascot9 of the last 11 winners had a rating of 111 or higherVenetian Sun loved the drop back to this trip winning readily at Haydock last month. She is clearly the one to beat off the back of that performance but there is something about her that is far from bombproof and at a short price I’m happy to oppose.WISE APPROACH has failed to deliver twice this season but he is still a horse that has potential and if he bounces back to his best here he could have a huge chance at a double-figure price.Albert Einstein was denied just a neck at Newbury and does seem to be clicking back into gear so he could build on that again and get involved albeit a little frustrating.Coppull is a big price and I might have an each way saver on him nearer post time as he knows how to win and has proved course form. Bet on WISE APPROACH each way at 12/1 with BetVictor Royal Ascot 3.40 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes (Handicap) (Class 2) 1m4f10 of the last 12 winners were aged 4 or 56 of the last 12 winners were favourites or joint favourites and 7 of 12 top 3 in the betting9 of the last 12 winners were drawn in stall 12 or higher9 of the last 12 winners had a rating between 96 or 103There are plenty in with a chance here but WARRANT HOLDER definitely catches the eye for The King.He has won his last two and was impressive at York last month. He has more to offer back up in trip here and I’m surprised he isn’t shorter than 5/1 in the betting as he is unexposed and shapes like he can keep improving for a while yet.Opportunity was poor at this meeting 12 months ago but looked back to his best winning at Carlisle last month and comes here with solid claims now.Hopewell Rock gives the impression he has more to come but he does need to settle better. He has been snapped up by Wathnan so they must be confident of a big run with George Boughey already amongst the winners this week. Bet on WARRANT HOLDER each way at 5/1 with PaddyPower Royal Ascot 4.20 Coronation Stakes (Fillies’ Group 1) (Round) 1m4 of the last 12 winners were favourite or joint favourites and 9 of 12 top 3 in the betting6 of the last 12 winners won on their last run before the Coronation Stakes2 of the last 3 had at least 1 previous win at Ascot11 of the last 12 winners had a rating of 107 or higherI kept the faith with PRECISE in the Irish Guineas and she didn’t let me down winning emphatically. She has won five of her seven starts now and is one of the most promising fillies in training.I fully expect her to confirm form with stablemate True Love and follow up against this field. She should win this before going on to Glorious Goodwood!True Love is still a highly talented filly and she did nothing wrong in defeat last time out. She should run her race again and looks the most obvious danger.Touleen was sixth behind True Love in the Guineas but has been kept fresh since so could improve on that but still has enough to find. Bet on PRECISE to win at 4/6 with bet365 Royal Ascot 5.00 Sandringham Stakes (Fillies’ Handicap) (Straight) 1m5 of the last 12 winners were favourites or joint favourites and 7 of 12 top 3 in the betting7 of the last 12 winners won on their last run before the Sandringham Handicap8 of the last 12 winners had a rating of between 88 and 1000 of the last 12 winners had at least 1 win in a Group raceAnother race where there are quite a few in with a chance but I really like SEET for John and Thady Gosden. This filly by Too Darn Hot has improved with each start and backed up that Wolverhampton win to score convincingly at Doncaster last time.As long as this doesn’t come too soon she can complete the hat-trick on handicap debut with Ryan Moore booked. She has a perfect blend of speed and stamina so this straight mile should be ideal. At a bigger price I can see Symbol Of Majesty running well. She is a well put together filly by New Bay who won her first two starts and then had excuses on the AW last time. Back on turf she could run a decent race here.Rosa Inglesa is likeable and is another one I can see landing a blow at the business end. Bet on SEET each way at 5/1 with Betfred Royal Ascot 5.35 King Edward VII Stakes (Group 2) 1m4f5 of the last 12 winners were favourites and 9 of 12 top 3 in the betting4 of the last 12 winners won on their last run before the King Edward VII Stakes0 of the last 12 winners had a previous win at Ascot11 of the last 12 winners had a rating of 102 or higherI can’t wait to see WATER TO WINE out again here. The way he won on debut at Newbury was so impressive and then he followed up as expected at Kempton last month. He should love going up to a mile and a half back on turf and I really don’t see any dangers here. He is progressive and this stiffer track should suit as he has a pretty devastating stride length and should eat up the ground in the closing stages.Causeway is likeable and is going the right way so looks the one to chase the favourite home. This trip will suit so he should acquit himself well.Golden Story also looks promising but probably wants softer ground to be seen to best effect. Bet on WATER TO WINE to win at evens with Spreadex Royal Ascot 6.10 Palace Of Holyroodhouse (Handicap) (Class 2) 5f1 of the last 6 winners was a favourite or joint-favourite and 2 of 6 were top 3 in the betting3 of the last 6 winners won on their last run before5 of the last 6 winners had a rating of between 87 and 970 of the last 6 winners had at least 1 win in a Group raceA fiercely competitive finale and there are plenty in with a chance here but WESTPORT is yet to taste defeat and his form really couldn’t have worked out any better. He bolted up at Hamilton as his price suggested he would but he could be well handicapped with 5f at this track sure to suit as he is probably best over 6f but with a strong pace assured it’ll bring his stamina into play late on.Gold Digger will likely go off favourite and she impressed making it two wins from three starts at Windsor last time.Dickensian is on an upward curve and Moojeed and Black Star Boy complete the shortlist. Bet on WESTPORT each way at 9/1 with Coral My top tip for Royal Ascot 2026 day 4 on FridayI feel like I have sided with the value all week but today I fancy the two hotpots to do the business!SUN GODDESS looks exciting and can take the Albany and WATER TO WINE is progressive and should remain unbeaten in the King Edward VII Stakes. The double pays around 4/1 which I’m more than happy to take.
