He shakes and bakes the defender and then the pass, beautiful.”Two big positives to take from Croatia victoryFerdinand, like many, was impressed with England’s overall performance against Croatia.Tuchel’s side showed a defensive vulnerability in the first half but came out with renewed vigour after the interval to see off their opponents.“There were two things I was really impressed with,” Ferdinand pointed out. “The turnaround in the second half and you all saw Harry Kane, Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham all come out speaking glowingly about the manager’s team talk at half-time.“So that’s an absolute massive plus because he’s a manager that’s very aggressive, he’s punchy, and he isn’t going to go out trying to stay in a game. “He’s going to try and win a game and if that doesn’t happen it isn’t going to be for the want of trying.Ferdinand was impressed by Tuchel’s half-time team talk that appeared to spark England into life against CroatiaGetty“The second thing is, his aggressive substitutions.
