Bihar's rail network is set for a major upgrade. The Union Railway Minister announced a record Rs 10,000 crore allocation for infrastructure development. A new express train will connect Chapra with Delhi. Locomotives manufactured in Bihar are now being exported. Projects worth Rs 1.15 lakh crore are underway. Patna Junction will get five new platforms.
