Largest underground lake on Earth: Scientists have unearthed a colossal underground thermal lake, dubbed Lake Neuron, in southern Albania's Atmos Cave. This vast, turquoise body of water, measuring approximately 460 feet long, is now recognized as the world's largest known subterranean thermal lake.
