Luka Vuskovic’s latest transfer plans could now force Tottenham Hotspur into a decision following Brighton’s latest £45 million offer.Tottenham Hotspur know they will have to decide on the future of Luka Vuskovic at some point as he continues to attract interest from clubs. Not only is Vuskovic attracting interest from a host of sides, but the 19-year-old is also keen on securing vital minutes at this stage of his career.Since joining Tottenham in 2023, Vuskovic has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Lilywhites and has spent the last two seasons out on loan.Photo by Lampson Yip/Lampson Yip/Clicks ImagesLuka Vuskovic plans to hand in a transfer request amid the latest Brighton offer In the 2025-26 campaign, Vuskovic impressed while on loan at newly promoted Hamburg. He was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season, and his performances have since attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool have all expressed interest in signing Vuskovic. However, none of Europe’s heavyweights has submitted a bid for the teenager, although Tottenham have been approached by a Premier League side.Spurs Web reported earlier this month that Brighton had a £30m offer for Vuskovic swiftly rejected, but the Seagulls have since returned with an improved £45m bid. According to The Standard, Spurs are now weighing up whether to accept or reject the offer. However, Vuskovic is reportedly ‘prepared’ to submit a transfer request in a bid to force a move through as he searches for increased game time. Why a Brighton move could suit Luka VuskovicFrom a sporting point of view, pushing for a move to Brighton makes sense for the teenager, who is still developing. The Seagulls have an impressive track record of developing youngsters and selling them at a premium to top clubs, and it is clear Vuskovic believes this could be the next step needed in his development.Speaking about the latest interest in his services, the Croat said: “I’m focused on the World Cup at the moment, but my goal is to have a season at the club in which I’ll play, where they want me, and we will see what happens in the coming days or weeks”Agreeing to a £45m sale would see Spurs make a significant profit on a player they signed for £12m. His remaining in north London, however, may also not aid his development, given the competition from several experienced centre-backs.Marcos Senesi, Micky van de Ven, Jan Paul van Hecke, Kevin Danso, Radu Dragusin and Cristian Romero are the centre-back options currently available to Tottenham.Spurs, however, will not want to lose what many view as a generational talent, although structuring the right deal could help cushion the effect. It is also worth noting that Vuskovic has reportedly agreed personal terms with Brighton, according to Spurs Web.READ MORE: Tottenham close to reaching agreement with Mateus Fernandes amid £80m rumoursThe post Luka Vuskovic is ‘prepared to hand in a transfer request’ at Tottenham after £45m bid appeared first on Spurs Web.
