SRINATHAll India Congress Committee president Mallikarjun Kharge has reportedly asked Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) president, K. Selvaperunthagai, to “wait” as he considers the latter’s request to be relieved of his duties as the president of the State unit. He recently met Mr. Kharge in Bengaluru and conveyed his request.Even before the elections, he had expressed his desire to step down as TNCC president.
