The bounce off the 18th low is running out of gas exactly where it should: into resistance, with the Kikou and price still below the kumo. The cloud ahead is flipping red, which says the trend is rolling back over to the downside. The setup: Price failed to reclaim the cloud and is printing rejection candles under 1,747. Conversion line is curling down toward the base line, and the lagging span is buried in the body of price. That is a bearish Ichimoku alignment, not a breakout. Entry zone: 1,728 to 1,747. The red box is my risk. I am short on weakness here. Invalidation: a clean 4H close above 1,770 (R1) and back inside the cloud kills the short. That flips momentum bullish and I step aside. Targets: first the pivot at 1,685, then the main objective at S1 1,640. Stretch target is the 1,600 line if the cloud base gives way. Bias: short the rejection under the cloud, cover into 1,640.
