Monsoon is set to advance into more parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, and eastern states by June 23. While heatwave conditions persist in some areas, rainfall is expected to increase significantly across South Konkan-Goa from June 22. Coastal regions of Maharashtra and Goa are warned of squally winds, with fishermen advised to stay ashore. Thunderstorms are also forecast for various parts of the region.
