Prosecutors say the alleged ringleader in the assassination conspiracy discussed targeting Trump, Vance, Netanyahu and Musk.By World Israel News StaffOne of the suspects accused of participating in an alleged plot to assassinate President Donald Trump during a UFC event on the White House lawn appeared unusually cheerful in his booking photo, flashing a broad smile for the camera after his arrest.Abraham Hermosillo Alvarez, 31, of Omaha, Nebraska, is seen grinning from ear to ear in his mugshot following his arrest in connection with the alleged conspiracy.According to federal prosecutors, Alvarez was the ringleader of a plot involving four other suspects who allegedly planned an attack targeting high-profile political and public figures during the UFC Freedom 250 event, held at the White House on Sunday, June 14.Court documents allege that Alvarez used the online pseudonym “Shepherd” while communicating with co-conspirators through encrypted messaging platforms. In those conversations, prosecutors say he discussed plans to assassinate several prominent individuals, including Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.Investigators allege that the group exchanged satellite imagery and discussed tactical details, including potential sniper positions and the use of explosive drones, as part of preparations for the planned attack.Federal authorities intervened before the alleged plot could be carried out, leading to the arrests of Alvarez and the other suspects.Alvarez has been charged with conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States and conspiracy to commit murder.The other defendants named in the case are Tycen C. Proper, 19, of Danville, Ohio; Bryan Omar Roa, 24, of Calimesa, California; Michael Alan Thomas, 32, of Pinon Hills, California; and Daniel K. Eskridge, 32, of Kidder, Missouri.If convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, each defendant faces a maximum sentence of life in prison and a fine of up to $250,000, according to the Department of Justice.
