Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to prepare project report for the bullet train and high speed rail projects so as to ensure setting up of a railway station near Anantagiri in Vikarabad district on the Hyderabad-Pune railway line.He said by establishing a station at Anantagiri, it could be developed with transport facilities to the IT corridor in Hyderabad. Besides this, he suggested stations at Bharat Future City, Mannanur (Nallamala), near Somasila keeping in mind the tourism potential for the proposed Hyderabad-Bengaluru high speed rail line.Mr. Reddy reviewed the bullet train and Warangal airport designs here on Tuesday with officials. The meeting was attended by MP Vem Narender Reddy, Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj, CMO Principal Secretary Srinivasa Raju, TGIIC Commissioner Shashank, Ranga Reddy District Collector Narayana Reddy and R&B Special Secretary Praveenya.Reviewing the Warangal Airport development, the Chief Minister stressed that the design must reflect the heritage of the Kakatiya Empire. A large island should be built in front of the airport featuring statues of Queen Rudrama Devi, King Rudradeva and a massive Nandi.
