Well, it finally happened to me. Someone I work with criticised copy I had shared (not mine, but it’s beside the point) and said “I think your copy is a bit complicated, maybe it needs rewriting.” When I asked if they had any suggestions, they came back with “I’m not too sure, but here’s what ChatGPT suggested.” I just sat there in disbelief.
