I want a long-term investment. I'm almost 45 years old, and I don't have ANY retirement savings. This money I have will probably be the only money I ever have like this. I'd like to at least be able to know that I have something to fall back on when I can no longer work. I don't plan to retire anytime soon, I'm not going back to school just to work 10-15 years, but eventually my health will force me to retire, and it would be nice to have a nest egg.
