As Tottenham Hotspur continue to be linked with ambitious moves for players such as Savinho, Jan Paul van Hecke and Sandro Tonali, we have taken a look at how Spurs could line up next season should the club succeed in landing all three targets this summer. Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left excited by the latest reports linking the club with a move for Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali ahead of the new season.Completing a move for Tonali will not be straightforward, however, with Arsenal and Manchester City also interested in signing the Italy international.Reports suggest Tonali is open to joining Tottenham due to his close relationship with Roberto De Zerbi, which could hand Spurs an advantage in negotiations. However, Tottenham would still need to smash their current transfer record to complete a deal for the Newcastle United midfielder as they continue strengthening their squad ahead of next season.Photo by JOHN THYS / AFP via Getty ImagesTottenham lineup could look very different with Sandro Tonali and SavinhoShould Tottenham complete the signing of all the players they have been linked with this summer, their starting XI next season could look very different, and it would certainly excite supporters.Aside from Andy Robertson and Marcos Senesi, who are now Spurs players, Tottenham have also been linked with further additions, including Savinho and Jan Paul van Hecke.Spurs Web has now taken a look at how Tottenham’s lineup could shape up should they complete deals for both players alongside Tonali. In goal, we expect to see Antonin Kinsky, who impressed during the run-in last season with several match-saving stops. However, that could still change if Guglielmo Vicario is sold amid interest from clubs in Italy and Tottenham prioritise signing a replacement.Spurs midfield and attack could suit Roberto De Zerbi perfectlyIn defence, we expect Roberto De Zerbi to stick with a back four, although the latest additions could also allow Spurs to switch to a back three with greater tactical flexibility.Regardless, Pedro Porro is expected to continue at right-back after recently signing a new deal, while a partnership between Micky van de Ven and Jan Paul van Hecke could emerge at centre-back. Van Hecke’s arrival could spell the end of Cristian Romero’s time in north London, with clubs in Spain and England keen on signing him.Out on the left, Destiny Udogie is expected to start despite competition from Andy Robertson, Djed Spence, Ben Davies and Souza. Moving into midfield, things become even more exciting, with Rodrigo Bentancur and Tonali potentially forming a new pivot partnership. While De Zerbi was keen on retaining Joao Palhinha following his impressive loan spell, there is no denying Tonali represents a major upgrade. It remains to be seen if Spurs will complete the signing of the two midfielders this summer.Ahead of them, however, James Maddison is expected to feature in the number 10 role after returning from his ACL injury at the tail end of last season.Meanwhile, in attack, we can expect a front three of Mohammed Kudus, Dominic Solanke and Savinho.Kudus has since undergone surgery and is now working his way back to full fitness, which should put him in contention to start next season. There is also an expectation that, should Savinho complete a move this summer, he could operate off the left given his versatility. While Dominic Solanke will be hoping for a far better campaign than the one he endured last season in a Tottenham shirt. Here is our final XI: Kinsky; Porro, Van Hecke, VDV, Udogie; Bentancur, Tonali, Maddison; Kudus, Solanke, SavinhoREAD MORE: Brighton are preparing a third offer to sign Tottenham’s Luka Vuskovic after £30m failThe post How Tottenham could line up with Sandro Tonali, Savinho and Jan Paul van Hecke in the XI appeared first on Spurs Web.
