I live in an apartment complex and people will put useable items by the dumpsters to see if anyone else might want them. They get put in the trash obviously if nobody takes them. I put a brand new jewelry box, still had the little papers to keep the fabric nice, by the dumpster and came out later to throw my actual trash and the box was torn apart and all the drawers were thrown everywhere and all the papers were loose. So annoying. I picked all of it up and threw it away.
