Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a fresh contract offer for Pedro Porro despite continued speculation linking the full-back with a move away from north London.Tottenham Hotspur’s Pedro Porro had stated after the end of the season that he was focusing on the World Cup and wanted to limit his attention to transfer speculation. However, the rumour mill has not evaded him since those comments, with reports stating that Manchester City and Real Madrid are keen on Pedro Porro.Nevertheless, Spurs remain adamant that they do not want to lose the 26-year-old full-back, with Roberto De Zerbi viewing Porro as a key part of his team.Credit: @thefrederikkejensen / InstagramTottenham closing in on Pedro Porro contract extension amid transfer interestFabrizio Romano has now revealed the latest involving Tottenham and Porro amid interest from some of Europe’s elite. While Spurs have made their stance on Porro clear, the Italian now reports that Tottenham are closing in on a new deal for Pedro Porro, which should run until June 2030.He adds that Porro has always been untouchable under Roberto De Zerbi. The Spaniard did not miss a single game under the Italian since he joined Spurs and played a big role in Tottenham’s relegation fight. His tweet reads: “Tottenham are closing in on new deal for Pedro Porro until June 2030, always been untouchable for De Zerbi.”🚨🇪🇸 Tottenham are closing in on new deal for Pedro Porro until June 2030, always been untouchable for De Zerbi.Atlético Madrid keen on Cucurella since May but no official bid or talks yet — Marc wants focus on World Cup.🎥 https://t.co/z2Y1W5cnGi pic.twitter.com/YyGBdAAvxH— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) June 12, 2026Spurs plan significant pay rise for Pedro PorroPorro’s new deal would see his wages increase significantly, as his current pay does not reflect his importance to the team.Porro currently takes home £85,000 per week, which places him among the top ten highest-paid players at Tottenham. However, he is on similar wages to Radu Dragusin, who is more or less a fourth-choice centre-back.Given how readily available Porro is and how much he is willing to fight for the shirt, a pay rise could see him move into the top five earners at Spurs. A rise to between £110,000 and £150,000 per week would represent an increase of between approximately 29 per cent and 76 per cent, which would put him in the same wage bracket as the likes of Kudus and Kulusevski.PlayerPositionCountryAnnual SalaryWeekly SalaryCristian RomeroDefenderArgentina£10,140,00£195,000Xavi SimonsMidfielderNetherlands£10,140,00£195,000James MaddisonMidfielderEngland£8,840,000£170,000Conor GallagherMidfielderEngland£8,320,000£160,000Mohammed KudusMidfielderGhana£7,800,000£150,000Dominic SolankeForwardEngland£7,280,000£140,000Dejan KulusevskiForwardSweden£5,720,000£110,000RicharlisonForwardBrazil£4,680,000£90,000Micky van de VenDefenderNetherlands£4,680,000£90,000Radu DragusinDefenderRomania£4,420,000£85,000Pedro PorroDefenderSpain£4,420,000£85,000Ben DaviesDefenderWales£4,160,000£80,000Rodrigo BentancurMidfielderUruguay£3,900,000£75,000Archie GrayMidfielderEngland£3,900,000£75,000Destiny UdogieDefenderItaly£3,900,000£75,000Guglielmo VicarioGoalkeeperItaly£3,900,000£75,000Pape Matar SarrMidfielderSenegal£3,640,000£70,000Kevin DansoDefenderAustria£3,380,000£65,000Lucas BergvallMidfielderSweden£3,120,000£60,000Mathys TelForwardFrance£2,860,000£55,000Wilson OdobertMidfielderFrance£2,080,000£40,000Djed SpenceDefenderEngland£2,080,000£40,000Antonin KinskyGoalkeeperCzechia£1,560,000£30,000SouzaDefenderBrazil£1,300,000£25,000Brandon AustinGoalkeeperEngland£780,000£15,000Ashley PhillipsDefenderEngland£780,000£15,000Dane ScarlettStrikerEngland£648,000£12,000Mikey MooreMidfielderEngland£260,000£5,000Yang-min HyeokMidfielderSouth Korea£260,000£5,000Jamie DonleyMidfielderEngland£213,200£4,100Will LankshearStrikerEngland£176,800£3,400READ MORE: 76.9% vs 4.7%, Tottenham are dealing with two very different beasts in Vuskovic and Van HeckeThe post Pedro Porro contract details emerge as Tottenham play major extension and raise appeared first on Spurs Web.
