Soon, the company could start testing it for other devices, including the Galaxy Z series. One UI 9.0 is based on Android 17, as opposed to Android 16 QPR2 that One UI 8.5 uses. While it doesn’t offer major visual improvements, it does bring more customisations for the user interface, as well as many new features.Samsung is expected to debut the stable version of One UI 9.0 next month with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and the Galaxy Z Flip 8. Soon after that, the brand should start rolling it out to all the eligible devices.
