Samsung has announced a new security feature called Phishing App Risk Alert. The company says the feature will be unveiled along with new Galaxy products released in the second half of this year. In earlier versions of One UI, Samsung blocked known phishing apps from being installed. Even if such apps are installed through other means, One UI 9.0 can prevent them from launching and prompt you to remove them from your Galaxy phone or tablet.Samsung says it cross-references data from the Galaxy Store to power this feature.Samsung will also check whether an app was installed through remote control software or around the same time a suspected phishing call was received. The feature uses Galaxy AI to answer incoming calls on the user’s behalf.
