Tyler Brodsky helping his young daughter wash her hands inside a women’s restroom at an Alabama gas station while a bystander confronts him and later calls police.A Mississippi real estate contractor has reportedly lost his affiliation with his company after a viral video showed him berating a father who took his two young daughters into an empty women’s restroom during a road trip. The father, Oklahoma resident Tyler Brodsky, was traveling home from Florida with his young daughters when he stopped at a QuikTrip gas station in Alabama.Brodsky told Fox & Friends that the women’s restroom was empty when he entered with his girls after announcing himself at the door.He later explained that he did not feel comfortable bringing his daughters into a men’s restroom occupied by adult men.Video from the encounter shows an angry bystander confronting Brodsky while the father was helping his daughters wash their hands. The man repeatedly insisted Brodsky should not be in the women’s restroom and called police to report the situation. The confrontation visibly upset the young girls, with one child seen crying during the ordeal.Brodsky: “I knocked and announced that I was coming in with two girls. At that time, the bathroom was empty. So we went in, and this guy came in, started yelling, and demanded that we leave. He said I should have taken them into the men’s restroom, which I disagreed with.I’ve personally been in the men’s restrooms, and I just didn’t feel like it was a good place to take two little girls. So he was yelling, and I decided to set up my camera just in case anything happened, just to make sure everything was documented. Then the police showed up afterward. When I stopped recording, we pretty much went on our way after that.”A QuikTrip employee eventually intervened, closed the restroom door, and apologized to the family while attempting to calm the situation. Police later arrived and determined that Brodsky had done nothing wrong.According to Brodsky, officers reassured him that he was not violating any laws and ultimately asked the complaining individual to leave the premises.WATCH:!function(r,u,m,b,l,e){r._Rumble=b,r[b]||(r[b]=function(){(r[b]._=r[b]._||[]).push(arguments);if(r[b]._.length==1){l=u.createElement(m),e=u.getElementsByTagName(m)[0],l.async=1,l.src="https://rumble.com/embedJS/u5o49d"+(arguments[1].video?'.'+arguments[1].video:'')+"/?url="+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+"&args="+encodeURIComponent(JSON.stringify([].slice.apply(arguments))),e.parentNode.insertBefore(l,e)}})}(window, document, "script", "Rumble");Rumble("play", {"video":"v79dea6","div":"rumble_v79dea6"});As the video exploded across social media, public opinion overwhelmingly sided with the father. Many parents, particularly mothers, praised Brodsky for putting the safety and comfort of his daughters first rather than forcing them into a crowded men’s restroom. The backlash soon reached the man’s employer. Overstreet Properties, a Mississippi-based real estate firm, issued a statement on Instagram, distancing itself from the incident and announcing that the individual was no longer associated with the company, according to Fox News. The firm stated that the conduct shown in the viral video did not reflect its values or standards. The post reads:“Overstreet Properties is aware of videos circulating on social media depicting conduct by a former independent contractor during a personal trip that was unrelated to our company. The conduct depicted in the video does not reflect the values of Overstreet Properties or the standards we expect of those who represent our organization. Our focus remains on providing quality service to our clients, partners, and community. The individual depicted in the video is no longer associated with Overstreet Properties.”The post Man Who Called Cops on Father Helping His Young Daughters in Women’s Restroom FIRED After Viral Backlash appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
