The demonstrators carried placards urging the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation management to heed their demands and release funds.The protesters underscored the high cost of living, escalating costs of groceries, and familial duties such as arranging for weddings of their children, and healthcare expenses, and even funeral expenses. They said that they had submitted representations to senior TGSRTC officials, and were awaiting a positive response.Those who appeared older than others, and frail, either stood on the margins of the protest, nodding in agreement with the slogans, and speeches.
