KaraQ is preparing to release a new mobile game themed after Cardcaptor Sakura in Japan on June 25, 2026. It will have the Japanese subtitle Omoide no Kagi, which could be translated as The Key of Memories. This title will appear as a decorative diorama game. Players will be able to collect miniatures of the series protagonist Sakura Kinomoto with over 100 different outfits. They can then place the figures inside custom-decorated room dioramas. Sakura will not be the only character to appear in this game. The app store pages also include a teaser that the game will also feature appearances of more characters from the franchise, such as Kero-chan, Tomoyo, Syaoran, and Toya. Pre-registrations for this new Cardcaptor Sakura mobile game are immediately available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. As of June 18, 2026, over 90,000 pre-registrants have been recorded. They surpassed the first milestone of 50,000, which would unlock 3 S-Outing Tickets and 5 million friendship coins. This is also nearing the second milestone of 100,000, which will reward 20 Boxes of Sakura Miniature Shards between N and SR grades, as well as 150 star coins. Cardcaptor Sakura: Omoide no Kagi will be available for iOS and Android mobile devices in Japan on June 25, 2026.
